How We Grow Mushrooms & Microgreens

Clean Substrate
The growing medium is first sterilised in an autoclave so competing microbes are removed and the mushrooms get a clean base to grow

Controlled Growing Rooms
Temperature, humidity and airflow are monitored so mushrooms grow slowly and naturally, without shortcuts.

Careful Harvest & Trimming
We hand-pick, trim and sort mushrooms in small batches so you receive fresh, tender pieces ready to cook

Safe Seeds & Media
We use food-grade seeds and clean growing media suited for microgreens

Greens are cut at the right stage – when flavour and nutrients peak – not left to become old leaves

How We Make Wood-Pressed Oils

Wood-Pressed Oils, Made the Slow Way
Our oils are made in a small wood-pressed unit designed to keep heat and friction low, so the natural goodness of the seeds stays intact.

Seed Selection & Cleaning
Groundnuts, coconuts and other seeds are sorted, cleaned and carefully dried to remove dust, stones and moisture.

Low-RPM Wood Pressing
Seeds are pressed in a traditional wooden ghana at low RPM to minimise heat, which helps preserve natural aroma, taste and nutrients.

Natural Settling & Simple Filtering
The oil is allowed to rest so solids settle naturally. We use basic filtering – no chemical refining, bleaching or deodorising

No Mystery Additives
We never blend with cheaper oils, add antifoaming agents or use preservatives

How We Make Dehydrated Veggie & Fruit Powders

Gently Dried, Not Over-Processed
Our veggie and fruit powders are made from real, recognisable ingredients – beetroot, moringa, carrot, amla and more – turned into everyday kitchen helpers.

We start with real beetroot, moringa, carrot, amla and more—washed and trimmed by hand.

Produce is gently dehydrated at controlled temperatures to keep colour and flavours.

Dried pieces are milled into fine powders with no added colours, flavours or sugars.

Powders are 100% ingredient-only – no synthetic colours, flavours, sugars or maltodextrin.

Keeping Every Batch 100% Hygienic

FSSAI-licensed unit with documented hygiene SOPs

Staff use hairnets, gloves and dedicated aprons inside production areas.

Regular cleaning schedules for equipment, tables and trays

Food-grade detergents and sanitizers used as per guidelines

Periodic water and surface checks as per standards

What We Don’t Do

At YouandHealth, we don’t use hydrogenated fats, chemical refining, artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or “mystery masala” mixes. No shortcuts that compromise your family’s food.
