- In what situations refunds are possible

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all orders placed directly through https://youandhealth.in/.
This policy covers:
Order cancellation by you (the customer)
Order cancellation by us (YouandHealth)
Refunds related to such cancellations or approved quality issues
- This policy does NOT cover:
- When and how products can be returned or replaced
- Detailed conditions for damaged / wrong / missing / expired items

We understand that mistakes or plan changes can happen. We’ll always try to help when possible, especially if you reach out early.
- When you can cancel
You can request cancellation of your order:
- Before your order is packed or dispatched
- This is usually within a short window after placing the order.
- If the order is still in a “Processing” stage and not yet packed, cancellation is more likely to be possible.
Once the order status moves to “Packed”, “Shipped” or “Out for Delivery”:
- Cancellation is not usually possible, especially for:
- Fresh oyster mushrooms
- Microgreens and other fresh produce
- Short shelf-life or highly perishable items
For non-perishable items (oils, powders, pickles, etc.), we may still manage a cancellation before actual dispatch, but this is not guaranteed and depends on the stage of processing.

How to request cancellation
To request cancellation as quickly as possible:

- Subject: “Cancellation Request – Order [Your Order ID]”
- Your full name and phone number used at checkout
- Your Order ID
- Short reason for cancellation (optional but helpful)
Move the case to Cancellation & Refund Policy if a refund/credit is more appropriate.
- In some rare situations, we may have to cancel an order from our side, either fully or partially. This may happen if:
- The product is out of stock or fails our quality checks before dispatch
- The delivery address is incorrect, incomplete, or not reachable by our delivery partners
- The order is flagged as potentially fraudulent / suspicious by our systems or payment gateway
- There are significant logistic disruptions (strikes, natural events, emergencies) that prevent us from delivering in a safe condition, especially for perishable items
There are technical issues on the website resulting in pricing or product errors
- What happens if we cancel your order
- We will inform you via email, SMS or WhatsApp using the contact details you shared at checkout.
- Any amount already paid for the cancelled item(s) will be refunded in full as per the methods described below in Section 5.
- Refunds are typically considered in these scenarios:
- Successful cancellation of your order (by you) before packing/dispatch
- Order cancellation by YouandHealth due to stock, quality, technical or logistic reasons
- Approved quality-related issues where we decide, after review, that a refund or partial refund is more suitable than replacement
- Quality-related cases can include, for example:
- Confirmed damage or leakage in transit
- Confirmed wrong item sent (and you don’t want a replacement)
- Confirmed expired or unfit product at the time of delivery
- These are evaluated under our 👉 Return & Replacement Policy, and the final resolution may be:
- Replacement (handled under Return & Replacement), or
- Refund / partial refund (handled under this Cancellation & Refund Policy).
Depending on how you paid and the specific case, refunds may be processed in one of the following ways:
- Refund to original payment method
For prepaid orders, we generally refund to the same payment method used at checkout, such as:
- UPI
- Debit/credit card
- Net banking
- Wallets (if applicable)
The exact process depends on the payment gateway and your bank/wallet provider.
- Store credit or coupon
In some situations, or if you prefer, we may offer:
- Store credit added to your account, or
- A discount coupon of equivalent value, usable on future purchases from https://youandhealth.in/ within a specified validity period.
We will clearly communicate the available options before proceeding.
- Once we approve and initiate a refund from our side:
- Refunds to original payment methods typically take 3–7 working days to reflect, and in some cases up to 10 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Store credit or coupons are usually issued within 1–3 working days.
- If you don’t see the refund after the communicated timeframe:
- First check with your bank / card / wallet / UPI provider.
- If still not visible, contact us at support@youandhealth.in with your Order ID and any transaction reference details. We will coordinate with the payment gateway and update you.
- To keep things clear and sustainable, refunds are generally not provided in the following situations:
- Request for cancellation after the order has been packed, shipped or is out for delivery, especially for perishable items
- Change of mind after delivery (“I don’t want it anymore” / “I ordered
- too much” / “I found it cheaper elsewhere”)
- Taste / texture / colour preferences, when the product is safe and
- correct as per description
- Delayed complaints that fall outside the reporting window defined in
- the Return & Replacement Policy
- Issues caused by incorrect storage or handling at your end (e.g., not refrigerating where required, exposure to direct sun, moisture, or use of wet spoon)
- Minor, natural variations in colour, aroma, texture or size that are normal in organic and minimally processed products
- Orders placed using store credits / promotional coupons where it is explicitly mentioned that the amount is non-refundable
We always review each case with care, but we also follow food safety norms and need to keep operations viable as a small organic brand.

- In case of product issues: relevant photos/videos as requested in the Return & Replacement Polic

Our team will review your request, may ask for additional details if needed, and then confirm whether a cancellation, replacement, partial refund, full refund or store credit is applicable.
