At YouandHealth, we work with small-batch, organic and mostly perishable products – Woood-pressed oils, fresh Oyster mushrooms, Microgreens, and Dehydrated vegetable & fruit powders

We know that when it comes to food, clarity and fairness matter. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains:

  • When you can cancel an order
  • In what situations refunds are possible
  • How refunds are processed and in what timelines

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all orders placed directly through https://youandhealth.in/.

  • This policy covers:

    1. Order cancellation by you (the customer)

    2. Order cancellation by us (YouandHealth)

    3. Refunds related to such cancellations or approved quality issues

  • This policy does NOT cover:
    1. When and how products can be returned or replaced
    2. Detailed conditions for damaged / wrong / missing / expired items

We understand that mistakes or plan changes can happen. We’ll always try to help when possible, especially if you reach out early.

  • When you can cancel

    You can request cancellation of your order:

    • Before your order is packed or dispatched
      • This is usually within a short window after placing the order.
      • If the order is still in a “Processing” stage and not yet packed, cancellation is more likely to be possible.

    Once the order status moves to “Packed”, “Shipped” or “Out for Delivery”:

    • Cancellation is not usually possible, especially for:
      • Fresh oyster mushrooms
      • Microgreens and other fresh produce
      • Short shelf-life or highly perishable items

    For non-perishable items (oils, powders, pickles, etc.), we may still manage a cancellation before actual dispatch, but this is not guaranteed and depends on the stage of processing.

 

  • How to request cancellation
    To request cancellation as quickly as possible:

    1. Call / WhatsApp: +91 95382 21523
    2. Or email: support@youandhealth.in or wecare@youandhealth.i
    3. Include these details:
      • Subject: “Cancellation Request – Order [Your Order ID]”
      • Your full name and phone number used at checkout
      • Your Order ID
      • Short reason for cancellation (optional but helpful)

Move the case to Cancellation & Refund Policy if a refund/credit is more appropriate.

  • In some rare situations, we may have to cancel an order from our side, either fully or partially. This may happen if:
    1. The product is out of stock or fails our quality checks before dispatch
    2. The delivery address is incorrect, incomplete, or not reachable by our delivery partners
    3. The order is flagged as potentially fraudulent / suspicious by our systems or payment gateway
    4. There are significant logistic disruptions (strikes, natural events, emergencies) that prevent us from delivering in a safe condition, especially for perishable items

There are technical issues on the website resulting in pricing or product errors

 

  • What happens if we cancel your order
    1. We will inform you via email, SMS or WhatsApp using the contact details you shared at checkout.
    2. Any amount already paid for the cancelled item(s) will be refunded in full as per the methods described below in Section 5.
  • Refunds are typically considered in these scenarios:
    1. Successful cancellation of your order (by you) before packing/dispatch
    2. Order cancellation by YouandHealth due to stock, quality, technical or logistic reasons
    3. Approved quality-related issues where we decide, after review, that a refund or partial refund is more suitable than replacement

 

  • Quality-related cases can include, for example:
    1. Confirmed damage or leakage in transit
    2. Confirmed wrong item sent (and you don’t want a replacement)
    3. Confirmed expired or unfit product at the time of delivery

 

  • These are evaluated under our 👉 Return & Replacement Policy, and the final resolution may be:
    1. Replacement (handled under Return & Replacement), or
    2. Refund / partial refund (handled under this Cancellation & Refund Policy).

Depending on how you paid and the specific case, refunds may be processed in one of the following ways:

  • Refund to original payment method
    For prepaid orders, we generally refund to the same payment method used at checkout, such as:
    • UPI
    • Debit/credit card
    • Net banking
    • Wallets (if applicable)

The exact process depends on the payment gateway and your bank/wallet provider.

  • Store credit or coupon
    In some situations, or if you prefer, we may offer:
    • Store credit added to your account, or
    • A discount coupon of equivalent value, usable on future purchases from https://youandhealth.in/ within a specified validity period.

We will clearly communicate the available options before proceeding.

  • Once we approve and initiate a refund from our side:
    1. Refunds to original payment methods typically take 3–7 working days to reflect, and in some cases up to 10 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
    2. Store credit or coupons are usually issued within 1–3 working days.
 
  • If you don’t see the refund after the communicated timeframe:
    1. First check with your bank / card / wallet / UPI provider.
    2. If still not visible, contact us at support@youandhealth.in with your Order ID and any transaction reference details. We will coordinate with the payment gateway and update you.
  • To keep things clear and sustainable, refunds are generally not provided in the following situations:
    1. Request for cancellation after the order has been packed, shipped or is out for delivery, especially for perishable items
    2. Change of mind after delivery (“I don’t want it anymore” / “I ordered
    3. too much” / “I found it cheaper elsewhere”)
    4. Taste / texture / colour preferences, when the product is safe and
    5. correct as per description
    6. Delayed complaints that fall outside the reporting window defined in
    7. the Return & Replacement Policy
    8. Issues caused by incorrect storage or handling at your end (e.g., not refrigerating where required, exposure to direct sun, moisture, or use of wet spoon)
    9. Minor, natural variations in colour, aroma, texture or size that are normal in organic and minimally processed products
    10. Orders placed using store credits / promotional coupons where it is explicitly mentioned that the amount is non-refundable

       

We always review each case with care, but we also follow food safety norms and need to keep operations viable as a small organic brand.

  • Use a clear subject line:
    Example:
    For cancellations: “Cancellation Request – Order [Your Order ID]”
    For quality issues: “Refund Request – Order [Your Order ID]”
  • Include in your email:
    • Full Name
    • Mobile Number used for the order
    • Order ID and order date
    • Brief explanation (cancellation reason or quality issue)
    • In case of product issues: relevant photos/videos as requested in the Return & Replacement Polic

Our team will review your request, may ask for additional details if needed, and then confirm whether a cancellation, replacement, partial refund, full refund or store credit is applicable.
